Suspect in shooting of TV sports director Kyle Kraska surrenders. San Diego television sports director Kyle Kraska was shot multiple times on Tuesday as he drove out of his driveway. Later that night, the man suspected of the attempted murder surrendered to the police surrounding his home. Kraska was reported to be out of surgery and given a good prognosis for recovery that night.
Basketball coaching legend Jerry Tarkanian dies at 84. Visionary coach Jerry Tarkanian transformed the UNLV team during his 31 seasons as a Division 1 coach. Playing the game and the players field in a completely radical difference from other coaching equals, Tarkanian took the Rebels to a place they never could have been at without his coaching. In the past few years, after failing health, Tarkanian was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame, and will now be remembered there after his passing.
Hannah Davis defends Sports Illustrated cover after 'Today' sensors call it 'pornographic'. The 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition featuring Hannah Davis, girlfriend of Derek Jeter, drew negative attention. Davis is pictured pulling down the front of her bikini bottom in what many are calling to be a "pornographic pose". The National Center on Sexual Exploitation urges retailers to only partially expose the cover, as to not normalize the overly exposed girl.
